Our club is promoting SERRL race on Horsemonden course on 29 September 2013. We need a number of volounteers to help run the event. I will confirm minimum headcount for the safe running of the race shortly and in the meantime please check your diaries and let me know if you will be available to help.

Race starts at 9:30

All marshalls and car drivers should arrive at Brenchley Memorial Hall, post code TN12 7NX, by 8.45am leaving enough time to rig up cars, have a briefing and for marshals to get out onto the course before race start.

If drivers are BC members and would like to be added to the BC vehicle registration form for insurance purposes while driving the course, please PM or email me the following information by 20 September 2013/09/15:

• Name


• DoB


• BC membership number


• Make, model and registration of vehicle (n.b. people carriers are not allowed within the peloton, but are allowed as lead car 1 or neutral support vehicles)

Please try to help if you have not marshalled this year.

What time do you need your Marshalls at?... If it is very early, I cannot help, but if it's later in the day - I'm gonna bite the bullet and dare to do Marshalling

Hi Rachel

The race starts at 9:30 so marshals should be in their places before that. In previous years marshal briefing was around 9:00 and they would leave HQ to their allocated marshalling spots around 9:10.

If getting there is an issue, I can provide lift.
