Helpers still needed please. We are only a month away, entries are coming in, and I have a lot to do, it would help greatly to have the marshals allocated as soon as possible.

Due to roadworks we have been forced to change course, but it is still in the same area, same HQ etc. If you helped a couple of years ago then we were moved to this course then.

Go to this webiste - https://sites.google.com/site/accopen25/ and click on "G25/45 course map" on the side bar and it will show a copy of the course we will be using.

I have reallocated people to the new marshal posts in the original post above, please check and let me know if you have any questions.

Entries up over a 100 including some of the fastest riders in the South East, Tadros, Dennis, McNamara etc.

Still need 3 or 4 more helpers ideally please. Someone to help Joyce and Amy with the canteen would be much appreciated, lots of tea and cake to be served to 100+ hungry testers :) .

A full field of quality riders, 14 women (thanks for the PR Bridget :) ), 13 Addiscombe riders including a number of debutants.

Please note I still need ideally 3 or 4 helpers, contact me if you can help. All helpers will be sent a copy of the startsheet and a marshal's pack which will containn all teh info you need to know, although feel free to ask me if you have a question.

Wow, what a fantastic program, well done Andrew! Good luck with the event.

Pleased to see Tim Stevens' name on the startsheet (event record '95, and prolific road racer) - even though I've never actually met him I've come to know him well via Strava as about the same time we were having fun trying to beat best times up the local climbs (he's still at it) - some of which have been yoyo-ing between us, good clean fun.

The impressive thing is that (at probably around 50?) he's got awesome power on the flat, but just as much going up steep hills (he beat me by 5sec up Succombs and Toys). I'll have a go at him if he doesn't win :D

Cheers Sylv.

Tim's qualifying time is 53.33 (he's low 50s), he's a smashing bloke. A really nice jovial fella, and been flying of late. Last year he seemed to start getting quicker again.

Great organisation and brilliant to see so many women on the start list, though with the girl from 'Wiggle Honda Women's Pro Cycling Team' I'm unlikely to take 1st place : ) ha!

It looks like my task is to stay ahead of Young Matt.

Might be easier than Lizzie's task.

You spotted that  .

Come on folks, I still need a couple of helpers. Poor Ivor has had to pull out of the race due to a foot in a cast but has offered his services. A star.

Get well soon Ivor, and thank you for taking my place on the line. I feel really bad I had to pull out of this :( :( Apologies to Andrew and Illiya....
