It was a really nice event which had a great atmosphere, and was enjoyed by Ernie's daughter Diana who presented the prizes afterwards (and was generous enough to donate the winners one-off glass centenary trophy and prize money and the prize money for the Special Centenary Prizes.

Thank you to everyone who helped. I must say a special thank you to Amy for helping so much with the HQ and collecting signs after the event, Jo and Ian at the Robin Hood turn who had to cope with riders not paying attention and trying to go off course. I think this in part was due to a triathlon which was being run in the area, unlike events like ours (and other Open TTs) they seem to just stick an event where they like with no consideration for others. We have events calendered from November, Police permission, lots of event signage and marshals, and ensure that no events are run in similar areas on the same day. To be frank it's a bloody pain.

Special congratulations to:
Keith Lea for a superb sub hour debut 25 winning the road bike category.
Naomi Gaylerfor a huge improvement in her second 25 to win the LTS category.
Matt Webber with a brilliant debut 25 at the age of 14, an excellent debut time on a standard road bike.
Lewis Mclaren who was hit by a pheasant! It darted out from the bushes and hit him, knocking him from his bike, after just 3 miles. He got back on and rode the full course returning bloodied and a bit shaken. A far from normal debut, don't worry Lewis they aren't all like that. in fact that's the first time I've heard of it.

Great TT run with military precision as always Andrew :)

Very pleased with second attempt after last years 'character building' conditions. I obviously got overtaken by Joanna Rowsell at the end, but great to be part of a strong field of women. Cake delicious and best of all was the warm smiley cheers from the ACC'ers kindly lining all the junctions and roundabouts around the course, thank you so much. I felt proud to be in an ACC jersey! I'm hungry for the podium next year...

Lewis stuck it in his pocket and it is forming the main course at the Mclaren Sunday dinner.

Dunno about the riders but I am knackered. What worried me was the Norwood Paragon rider desperately looking for somewhere to warm his hands up  Thankfully I thought of the warm water tap.

Yeah not exactly the TT I was expecting! An experience I will never forget! But a great event, great marshaling and great friendly group! Was just one of them days! But was not all just me representing the Mclaren shenanigans after witnessing the old man crash in the HQ car park at 0.0mph! :)

In short no. May have been Diana or her husband, I have asked for copies of the presentation photos and will let you know if there are anymore. Other than that sometimes just clubmates of riders. I wasn't aware of any of the area photographers out today.
