Dulwich Paragon have the solution to the "problem that lies within itself"

Their online membership form says the following:

I agree to help with at least 2 club promotions each year.

Please indicate your volunteering preferences in the list below:

You must choose two volunteering options for your application to be approved.

:D 8) Ah, see,....said it was internal. Now, how to get 300 Jolly club runners into the AGM to vote for, and approve 8) of course, new, online application forms? Though I don't think anyone should have their hand forced. :(

Well, Rachel you've done your duty so feel good and relax. If everyone was like you then we'd be fine.

We're working on the communication. For a start we'd aim to put up an events list with helper requirements on this site just as soon as we can get such a list together. This should help people plan their lives. At the moment the issue is that we have different people organising the separate disciplines (TT, crit, road race, track, cyclocross) and we need to get the event details in one place.

It wouldn't be a rule change - the existing rules say that non-racers must volunteer for one event and racers for two.

It was always going to be internal - cant blame the EU for this one.

Its not having your hand forced unless you were forced to join ACC as everybody chose to marshal when they decided to join the club and accept the rules. Look at it rather as reneging on a commitment you made to the club if you don’t.

:D Paul, Phil, You definitely get my vote. No, in / out of ACC volunteering here.
In the meantime I'm still available for any sunny evening event that I could be trusted on.
Wearing my vintage ( Old school ) 1980's ACC Jersey :D . Please do PM me if there is anyone out there.
