[quote="Andrew G"]Well done Keith, another good result. Racking up the TTs his year
.
It is indeed draggy that run up to Handcross. I haven't ridden this course as the one time I was down to ride it the sky fell in and I didn't fancy getting the waders out to race. Twists and turns like a twisty turny thing so I guess there was plenty of signage / marshals out. How did you find your pacing as this is the first longer TT you've done and SPOCOs don't always lend themselves to even efforts anyway depending where the hard bits are.
"Racking up the TTs"? - I reckon lumpy TTs provide good training, applicable to road racing.
Marshalling was 100%. I had schematic directions on my top tube just in case. Anyway, I like to know when to look out for the next turn. If I know it's not for another 6 miles, I can relax.
Pacing? That was the first time I've TT'd that distance (just a single 25 before) so unknown territory. HR was running about 15-20bpm lower than a 10, but then It was the end of a long week of training, so I was a bit jaded.
