Anyone else heading out to watch any of the pro race? I see it features the likes of Sagan and Millar plus the most successful pro cyclist ever from Austin Texas (Kristian House).
We (me and Tom) were thinking we could pootle up Coldharbour Lane and across to watch them on the last bit of Leith Hill. I do mean pootle - stomach is still a bit tender.

50 in the morning so will be watching it on the tele from a prostrate position.

Pro race doesn't start until 12:45. Plenty of time to ride over to Leith Hill.

Nice to see they've resurfaced some of the SCCU Sporting 10 course

.As soon as the race had gone through, we set off after them on the closed roads. The A25 is still lovely from the Olympics and with no cars on it, good fun to ride. Saw a small lad - maybe 4 - with his parents riding his little bike along the A24 dual carriageway - which was cheering. He probably shouldn't try that most days though.
A good day. Went out down Pebble, across to Betchworth, Old School Lane (half of which has been surfaced) through North Holmwood and into the back of Dorking. Security people were pleasant and helpful - which after encountering a few officious ones at the Olympics was nice. We were very early up Leith so had to divert to the Plough at Coldharbour for an isotonic sports drink.
First time out since my op. I can feel it a bit so wasn't going fast up the climbs but then when did I ever?
