Entries Open 10TT August 31st

Full set of helpers. Now anyone who feels like entering a friendly open event

Hi again. A request for helpers for the Addiscombe CC Open 10 mile Time Trial to be held on Saturday August 31st on the G10/42 course (North Holmwood- familiar to those who have done the club 10s).

This is an easy one as the first rider off is at 2:00pm. You can ride there from Charlwood after the CR in plenty of time. The HQ is St John's Primary School right near the finish.

I need:
2x pushers
1 marshall for the exit of Spook Hill
2x marshalls for the Beare Green roundabout
1 marshall and one checker for the Capel turn
2x finish line spotters
3x canteen volunteers

Marshall duties are to simply direct the riders. Basically stand there and point. The turn checker needs to tick off the numbers of riders who pass the turn.

Previously in this event we have had Tour de France legend Sean Yates, Tour of Britain legend Wouter Sybrandy and Time Trialling legend Michael Hutchinson.

ACC riders wishing to enter should find that internet entry is available, otherwise the normal CTT entry procedure works.

PM, reply or e-mail to phil dot hawkes at gmail dot com.

Thanks in advance for supporting our sport.

I'll put the signs out Phil, I have them all anyway. If you can get to the next club 10 then you can take the numbers there.

Just another gentle reminder.

And also, for those who don't have one, if you help out you will receive an ACC cap.

Hi,

To all those who have offered help, thanks very much. I'm still short of finish line spotters and some help in the canteen.

For those who have already fulfilled their marshalling duties, entries are welcome too. The Internet Entry makes it very straightforward to enter.

Phil.
