Give Paul at Elite a call. http://www.elitecycling.co.uk/dynamic-bike-fitting.html.
Bike fit is all about the person doing it and their knowledge and ability. Paul is a top bloke and knows his onions. Apart from the bike fit just chatting while it's done and you'll learn a lot.

I've had a couple of bike fits from Cyclefit, admittedly its was about 7/8 years ago. I wasn't overly impressed but I'm sure they're better now. Now, the best cycle fit guy in the world is Steve Hogg and he trained up this Scherrit Knoesen (The Bike Whispere) and he did a great job for me earlier this year. Its gona be expensive but he is so thorough I think its worth it. His website -The Bike Whisperer Website is down. Their set up is in Ealing (West London) and here's their number -0208-998-7271 enquiries@thebikewhisperer.co.uk
Good Luck
PS Mo, are you still riding? Its been a while since you posted

@Toks - still riding, not racing. Feel there's something not right with my position which has been irritating me for some while now...so will get a bike fit and then start training in that position. Having said that -feeling fit but I'm going to 'chill out' for the next couple of years

Saw recommendations for Ealing-based 'bike whisperer' on bikeradar thread too - considering them...

What's happening with the Watts Toks? 300?

Once winter training begins in November I will let you know. I have no idea what my threshold is now.

my definition of 'chill out' (hence inverted commas) = do less hours training per week/ increase proportion of high intensity (zone 4-7) /abandon v. long (>5hrs /90mi+) solo rides /

In short - train smarter. I don't intend to abandon 'racing' scene - in fact might drift from tt to rr - maybe next season?

Currently working every Sat so can't come and play with TG. I long miss that 'feeling of death' trying to hang onto TG wheels. Probably October I'll have my shift pattern rearranged so I can pop down to css.

Karen and I both had a cycle fit by Stuart at Pearson's in Sheen

He was excellant and both of us benefitted greatly from the fit which took 3 hours each

They fit you on their rig which allows for multiple minor adjustments which he then applies to your bike

The other plus is that you can email Stuart afterwards for more tips / advice and he replies even a number of months after we went there

Let me know if you want anymore infromation

I'd be interested too Nick. My trial and error approach isn't paying dividends...

+1 interested in this.

Just been to Cadence Performance in Crystal Palace for a simple saddle fit as I'm after a new saddle and seat post.

Got there only to realise that they had no knowledge that I was coming despite me booking in. This was a precursor to a full fit. Needless to say they won't be getting any more custom from me.
