Clocked up a good 100 time on a road bike! Brilliant ride, gutted he couldn't hang on for 20 metres more.

[quote="Dan_K"]"unbelievable" ride from Mr Horner...

He has always been good on the really vertical stuff, tended to always lose time on the long climbs plus as a domestique he was ridding in other places than for his own position.

Shows how cynical you can get about it. I was sitting there thinking along with the unbeliable thoughts was the fact that he is 42 years old!!

Good ride by Cancellera be interesting at the worlds if he rides the TT.

Cancellara and Martin have been honing their form for the Worlds, should be a good ding dong with them and Wiggins...if he's finished his bender yet.

Well that was an interesting day with action from the old bloke and the young bloke. Young Barguil seems to have some legs.

Epic. You've got to love the Vuelta, and it's been a great one this year.

Me and Tom were joking about Astana sending a rider up the road today on the final stage as a springboard for Nibs. Wasn't going to happen though.

It's a sad sign in our sport that a thing like Horner winning will, inevitably attract some scepticism. The biological passport and the testing ought to show anything funny though. At least in cycling - unlike a lot of pro sports - people actually do get tested. I really hope that all are clean. And that Brian Cookson is the next UCI president.
