I should be able to help - what time do we expect the race to be finished?

Is there anyone coming from Tadworth/Epsom/Kingswood area that is keen to go together? I can collect, or make my way to you by bike....

We still need two marshals and neutral support vehicle to make the race happen.

I know this may not be best way to spend a Sunday morning but if you like cycling it is not bad either. Post here if you can spare a few hours of your time for our club please.

On a more serious note - what a shame about the two riders knocked off their bikes after the race One was able to return to the HQ but the other went to hospital with what sounds like a broken collarbone. Hope it heals quickly.

To All Marshals

Just a quick note to say thank you for your time and efforts today. It is hugely appreciated by The Club and The SERRL.

Comments I heard after the race imply that marshalling was executed very well so job well done all!

There was an unfortunate incident after the race where two riders were involved in a collision with a car. I hope the injuries they sustained are not serious and they will return to cycling quickly.

A small omission on my side meant that I only had £10 and £20 notes on me so I could not give all marshals £5 they are due. Apologies! If I got my records correctly I still owe £5 to the below marshals. I will bring the money out on 5 October Club Run or if you are not around next week I can either wire you the money, send you a cheque or give you the money next time I see you.

I will also try to get ACC caps from Jon C before the next Club Run so let me know if you already don't have a new style ACC cap and which colour you would prefer. The options are 'mostly white with yellow' or 'mostly black with yellow'. I can't guaranty I will be able to get you your preferred option as I don't know how many caps Jon has left in his stock but I will try.
