Indeed, but I can't see how repeating the assertion and adding extra search keywords has helped. Maybe a private message might have been a better way of handling it.

This is the ACC website not MSN. The driver probably wont get charged and even if he was it wouldnt be dealt with by Jury so doesnt matter

Thanks for that, Keith. That's what scares me most - people's driving and attitude to cyclists. Normally I would acquit them of not actually wanting to kill me but... There is a minority who seem to want to drive us, quite literally, off the road. But I don't want segregation, I want integration and lot of re-educating people on what you can and can't do on the road - bikes as well as motor vehicles!

Hopefully hear the outcome of this particular incident...

Whilst cycling back to HQ after the race had finished, Lee and Daz were attacked by a driver, and left with significant injuries. This is a serious incident and will certainly be the subject of further investigation.

Lee has a broken hand and Darren a broken collar bone. All of us in the club offer their full support and hope that a) they recover fully and b) that the individual involved is brought to account.

Update: Daz has had an operation on his shoulder with a steel plate and lots of pins inserted. Am awaiting further news on Lee's injuries.
