Addiscombe Members Circuit Race 16th March 2014

We have the Cyclopark booked at Gravesend from 9am to 1pm on the Sunday 16th March 2014

Venue Cyclopark - The Tollgate, Wrotham Road, Gravesend, Kent DA11 7NP

The current plan is to run two separate addiscombe club members races:
A) Novice/B race starting at 9.30am. 40 minutes plus 1 lap
- The aim is to introduce people to racing.

B) An A race starting at 10.45am. 1 hour plus 2 laps
- Based on entries. My thinking would be to give the 4th category riders, a handicap.

Cost will be £10 for those without a race license. (As £5 of entry goes towards a day license).
£5 for those that have one. The event will be registered as a Go race with BCF, for insurance purposes
I need entries in advance, so that it’s worthwhile having two separate races.

I'm up for this.

I'd urge anyone even slightly interested to come along and have a go, last year was great fun.

It'd be nice if there was a big non-training group turn-out, as this is an event for everyone in the club to have a go at a [not too competitive] race in a safe and fun environment. Plus the track is really nice, soooo smooth. No traffic, pot-holes or people spitting at you!

Sign up people, it's not just for the fast guys & gals.

I'd concur on this. I've done precisely one mass-start race in my life and it was a club one. Nice, non-threatening atmosphere and I even managed to hang on until the end.
