Olympic Velodrome

Postby Phil H » Mon Feb 03, 2014 11:14 pm

We have been contacted by Biritish Cycling South East to see if we are interested in sessions on the London Velodrome. We need to respond fairly quickly.

Sessions likely to be available are either Thursday evenings 20:00 - 22:00 or Saturdays 13:15 - 15:15. Price is likely to be around £20 per rider plus bike hire (no, I don't know how much this will be).

As you can imagine, demand is likely to be high. To get some numbers in ASAP could you PM or e-mail me with:
1. Whether you are interested in Thursday or Saturday
2. How often
3. Are you a junior?
4. What's your level of track experience?
5. Which event from the club calendar you can commit to helping out at?

Hi Phil, I'd be really interested in the Thursday evening, although probably infrequently unfortunately. Have never ridden track before.

HI Phil,
I'd be interested in trying out the new Olympic velodrome on Thursday evening would be good or a saturday session if easier. Willing to help out again at Acc road race in September or something sooner if needed.
I have ridden Herne Hill velodrome at the start of the falling leaves ride but not been trained on track etiquette for racing at all.

Oh yes. If your username doesn't make it obvious who you are, to save me having to go into your user record, get your e-mail then match that with the member list a PM/e-mail with your name would be handy (don't worry Lee I looked you up).
