My sympathy was with them in that weather. It might have chucked it down on us for most of the CR but fortunately we didn't have to climb and descend a steep mountain. Chattering teeth seemed to be the order of the day as they crossed the line.

Basso seems to have it sown up, at this rate he can afford to ease off and save some energy for le tour.
