Hampshire RC 10 - 26/04/14

Jon and I down for this event on the Liss/Liphook A3 course in cool, bright, breezy and dry conditions. Judging by the result it was a fast day but old age and asthma meant I struggled round in 24:34. Jon managed a more respectable 23:53.

I thought I was going to have a wasted journey. Some rain showers on the way, then just as I arrived at the HQ it chucked it down for about 20 minutes. I sat in the car sulking, then it stopped raining about 45 min before my start time. Roads were wet as I warmed up, but dry on the A3 for the race. First 25mph ride of the year for me, so reasonably happy with that.
