This was my first time out on the superfast F11/10 (A41) at Tring. Conditions were bright and breezy and a few degrees warmer than of late. Despite being windy it only made last mile or so difficult and the fast downhill section saw me reach 44.7 mph. The warmer weather meant my breathing was ok and I managed a season's best 22:28 - it really is a fast course. With a field full of supervets I finished well down both on actual time and standard with the winning time being tied at 18:53.

Well done Steve, I've heard this is a fast 10 with the big downhill. Shame you were poorly the next time, fit for the 50?

Still not 100% so not sure about the 50 - i'll leave it to the last moment to decide. Good luck to ACC riders in any case.
