Are we going to have a ACC meeting time. I don't mind starting early as intending to drive back in the evening. If we all register the day before then I would say that a 7am start is probably in order. What do you think or would people prefer more of a lie in?

Strategically I favour a second wave start - this gives the optimum in terms of a few groups that can be caught up and faster groups from behind that can be latched on to - I agree with an earlyish start but I'm not going back until the next day so it is less of a problem - not sure we will be there in time to register on Saturday 'cos if it is not raining I aim to do a 17 mph cub run and peel off at partridge and spin home - Anyway, I suspect that the queue will have to be negotiated and Breakfast is unlikely to be before 7, so I reckon 8 or 8.30 before I'm at the start - maybe I'll catch up to you Marek (not)

Does anybody have an idea of where the feed stations and/or checkpoints are ? If we are in a group what are peoples feelings on how long to spend at feed/checkpoints ?

7am does seem like an early start but I'd go along if that's what everybody else is doing. Ideally I'd prefer something around 8.

Feed stations will be pointed out at the start - make sure you have an idea of where they are in relation to where you are on the course - having a computer set to mileage helps a lot

Well, I'm staying about 20 miles outside Bala and dependant on my wife for a lift (I don't fancy cycling the distance there as I think I will be doing enough later) so 7am seems unlikely - can you pick your own departure time? in the dragon ride is depended on your number and also they only started it at a certain time so you couldn't head off extra early anyway. Maybe we could do 2 groups, early and late, if possible. Anyway my mobile is 07791 783660 if you wish to get in touch.

Decided not to do club run but set off earlier so as to register on Sat - aim to have an hour's spin early evening before dinner if anyone is interested. If so, pm me for mobile number - I would probably be thinking in terms of 6.30 ish - Phil and I are at the Lion hotel in Bala

My aim is to start at 7am sharp so I get the best chance of finishing by nightfall :?

Good luck to everyone taking part, I hope the weather is better than it was in Yorkshire last Sunday.

As neat to 7am as I can.

I hope to register on saturday but will probably be staying quite far away as I have not booked anywhere.

Cheers
