SCCU - G25/54 - 6/9/15

Last Open TT of the season for me, on the G25/54 course (the course of 1 million roundabouts), run by the SCCU.

I could tell I was going to do a fast time heading down there with the mist still hanging around next to the motorway showing there would be no wind to speak of on the circuit. Was a cold warm up with the temp about 8 degrees C and i was starting to think leaving the arm warmers at home would come back to bite me, but I carried on anyway.

Started strong at 7:36 and could feel the borrowed Zipp 808s cutting through the air, managed to get round all the first half a million roundabouts without any problem then the visor of my borrowed bambino started to mist up. Got round the halfway roundabout about a minute up on my PB but briefly slowed up to remove and wipe down the visor. No traffic issues for the rest of the circuit and finished with a time of 56:39, a whole 2:01 faster than last time. Rob Royle-Evatt and PVT were there and got 1:04:01 and 1:05:19 respectively, some fast times by other clubs meant ACC only finished 9th in the team competition.
