Club TTs

Anybody got any news about the club TTs?
I emailed Tim Coales using the address from the memberlist, but haven't yet heard anything.
Not sure if we just need to turn up and ride, but I'm just wondering if I have contacted the wrong person or used an old email address.
I'll keep an eye out for Tim at the cafe tomorrow.

Tim's the man for the evening 10s.

I haven't heard anything from him, but as far as I know it's still on for next Tuesday.

I don't know where this is as I have never been before.

Can someone give me a postcode or map reference.

Anyone cycling from croydon / purley / coulsdon / merstham / redhill town?

I am guessing EOL is ok..........

Not got a map handy so can't give a grid reference, but North Holmwood ain't that big a place. So, from Dorking head south from the A24/A25 roundabout, up & over the tree-enclosed hilly single-carriageway bit of the A24. At the first roundabout (Deepdene) take the first exit into North Holmwood village. To find the car park we normally meet at, turn left and go up Inholms Lane past the church, and to get to the start just go up Spook Hill through the village and it's just before you get back onto the A24. Or if you miss the turning at Deepdene just carry on south on the A24, take the first left and you'll be at the start.

Tim is planning to send out a start sheet to those who have emailed to say they want to ride, but if he doesn't get time to do it, just turn up anyway and we can sort out EOL.

First rider off will be at 7.30.

TT

First time trial 27:40.

Now all I need to do is convert my single speed into a super fast fixed wheel, profile wheels, aero bar dream machine by next week!

Wind made it hard in places wouldn't fancy doing it in the same weather conditions.

That wind made for very hard conditions, probably a minute slower than average conditions, and 90 seconds slower than a calm warm evening.

Even so, everyone got inside the half hour benchmark, so well done.

Roll on next week and fingers crossed for better weather.
