Tony Kelly Crashes out of 5 Day

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Just read the above report. I don't have any news on his condition, I don't have his contact details. Can someone make sure he is ok and please post.

Cheers

Just spoke to Tony, unfortunately he came off in the sprint on the second stage. He has got some stitches in his head and he has broken his collar bone. All the usual cuts and bruises as well.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Tony is hoping to get back for some of the hills climbs towards the latter part of the season.

Cheers

Marek why don't you text Tony kelly the forum address. When i spoke to him at Palace he admitted that he never goes on the forum cause he doesn't have the address. I wonder how common place this is. We should really make the forum more accessable, like it is with most other clubs.

A big thank-you to everyone for the Get Well card. The picture on the front was a pretty good likeness!

Also, thank-you to everyone who has helped me in some way, shape or form since my accident. To save any embarrassment, I won?t name anyone individually nor attempt to list everyone. Notable efforts include people giving up their evening to collect my car from Alfold Crossways or simply being persuaded to chop-up the vegetables for my dinner when they had popped by to see how I was.

I am definitely getting better now ? but will be off the bike for several weeks yet. In addition to the collar-bone, I also managed to break at least one rib which is now almost as annoying as the other injuries.

Hope to catch-up with people soon ? I may even make it out to watch the inter-club. Enjoy the rides this weekend.
