London's potholes claim another victim

Real as far as I know. The ferocity of the downpour, the road markings and the numberplate on the coach all lead me to suspect it's not in London at all, but somewhere a lot further east - Dagenham, say.

What we can say for certain is that the photographer knew the pothole was there, and that if s/he stuck around long enough, a hapless cyclist would come along and totally, like, stack it.

It's almost certainly Singapore. The bus is painted the right colours for there, and the Taxi is a Toyota Crown, again in the right colours for Singapore.

certainly in Japan you see a lot of people cycling about holding umbrellas or with clip on attachements for holding them. Funny thing is they don'y really use waterproof coats like we do but carry umbrellas instead, even the 'cool' kids will carry them, quite funny to see as in the west it would totally ruin their image.

This photo was takem by a photographer who sat in wait.

The photographer has been found guilty of a crime.

Basically he knew the pothole was there and sat and waited for one of the many cyclists to not know the hole was there. The rider was pretty badly injured.

It showed up over here a month or so ago and eventually made its way onto the news.
