Lee Valley Youth Races; 2/3/4ths: 14/7/06

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

A very odd race today. No race report this time, just a few observations and some info I gleaned whilst 'chewing the fat' with other racers.

* Cyclos Uno's Junior Daniel Kogan is gonna be taking a week off and is not nervous about his A'level exam results.
* Steve 'Moody Pants' Caveman (34 Nomads) will soon be off to the Isle of White.
* At one point during the race, the other 34 Nomad (ex ACC) rider, Simon H said "whoa Toksy Boy"
* Jack 'Smogie' Chisolm admitted that he was tired and wanted to go to bed.
* For a laugh Jack and I both sang Whoo hoo, Whoo Hoo hoo (from that beer add where loads of bare chested blokes are playing footy).Know one else joined in!
* Guy Andrews, Rapha Condor wants me to write some articles for his website.
* Guy Andrews rode the Etape in 6mins 55secs
* Economic Energy's James Cocker kept looking over his shoulder constantly!
* A Norwood Paragon racer couldn't stop apologising for almost knocking me off the bike.
* One of the racing officials told me that I wasn't entertaining enough today
* It might just be me, but the Norwood Paragon riders all look a bit hairy

All very interesting Toks, but when are you going to address my critique of your training methods (see post on next Tuesday's Hillingdon race)?
