Cheers Toks - a touch of wheels in the vets race and a few went down - I thought I'd get out unscathed but someone just swerved and got my wheel so I ended up kissing the tarmac ! I am now sporting a sore arm and some rather unfetching badges down my right side.
At the time the adrenaline just made me quickly straighten up the bike and get going again with blood still running down my arm ! (Unfortunately one guy broke his collar bone.)

So my first race of the year - it wasn't pretty, but it was good to get some BC points out of it.

I'll try and do the Vets race next week or is it the week after at Hillingdon. If you're there for the women's event the person that gets the highest placing in their respective race has to get the drinks in later!!

The women's ones are every other week. (I think the same applies for the vets' race).
I won't be in London for that one, but I will definitely do the one after that. So get your wallet ready !
