Ullrich, Sevilla and Pevenage suspended

T-Mobile has suspended Jan Ullrich, Oscar Sevilla and Rudy Pevenage in the wake of the Operacion Puerto affair. The three were implicated in the doping scandal as being clients of Dr Eufemiano Fuentes. None of them will take part in the Tour de France.

I?m all for this.

I think that the stance by ASO to reject Communidad Valenciana and, it seems, Astana, and the dropping of Ullrich and Sevilla by T-Mobile is a victory for integrity and will pave the way for the genuine, hard working, clean riders to come to the fore and re-gain the moral high ground.

Millar for the Prologue!! (presented by Max Sciandri).

well I must say Jan's involvement has really hit me, :( not looking forward to the tour really now with Vino, Jan and Ivan all probably out, lots of good riders left but its not the tour I was looking forward to and haven't really being following the others down the years (also lacking in charisma I think). Hey maybe the French will do better after all? :?

Jan Ullrich, excluded from this year's race because of links to
blood-doping, has been sacked by his T-Mobile team, SID news agency
reported on Friday.

Yep, forget code-names and references to people's dogs, when the phone call list was made available to T-Mobile management, the phone numbers were recignised.
