Go for it. It's different. Noisy and smelly (weird fuel being burnt) If an official lets you stand behind the cars at the start. Be warned, the noise and pressure of air are something else.

Bummer just realised the main event for this year is the coming weekend. Anyone fancy going either Sat Sun or Monday?

Used to go a couple of times a year, absolutely fantastic.
The sound of a fully blown V8 engine is the best sound in the world. The smell of burning rubber and the pounding on your chest as the engines rev is thoroughly addictive. And the speed well - awesome!

I urge everyone to go at least once in their lifetime. If you don't you will be missing something quite memorable!

Called off today due to weather, possibly likewise tomorrow - not worth the gamble 200 mile-drive.
