Yeah how cool does Erick look. I'd marked him for the whole race, he tried to jump away three times and iIcaught him each time...In the picture there's about 2 laps to go My trajectory on the hairpin bend (behind us) was slightly off on the 30th lap and that gave Erick a gap of a bike length and a half...The wily old master Quentin Tring had sat in for a few laps and you can see him begining to bridge across.

Erick even crashed on about lap 15 and someone tried to take advantage and get away. I chased him down and we eased after half a lap. Erick took a lap out and was soon back. Quentin Tring who you can see behind Erick sat on his wheel for the last two laps and claimed a good second. I almost grabbed fourth when I out jumped most of the bunch for the last time up the climb. However I had nothing left with 30metres to go so they all pulled me back. No racing for me tonight. I'll be eating chicken rice & salad and drinking beer at NANDOS when the Palace boys start racing. Yeahhhhh :D :D
