Andrew you know the routes better than me so i'll leave times, route, and meet up point up to you. If Ian is coming and wants to make it later then thats fine with me. Sorry Marco i don't have a MB. If i should be away from the computer and you need to arrange times etc my moby is 07793152610.

Sorry Marco no MTB either.
The only routes I really know are out towards Westerham and surrounding area. Fine if you don't mind cycling out of Croydon towards Selsdon/Addington area first (where I'd probably meet you). 30-35miles plus the bit you'd have to & fro croydon?

Ian, you knows a lot more lanes than me, so I'll bow to your superior route finding / navigation if you already had a route planned.

Would a 10 start be civilised enough?

If you 2 left CSS at 10, then i would meet you at the feathers at around 10.20, i guess you both know where it is as you go past it on the club run.

Sounds like a good (& less convoluted) plan and then you can lead us off in to the countryside

Jon - See you at CSS at 10.

I am out on Saturday with my eldest Daughter for her first Ever CR!!!!!

But I am more than sure I can also make Sunday as well. If I am not at the feathers by 10.20 please leave as I may be worse for wear.....

A good turn out this Sunday for the ride out to Westerham, Huw, Amy, Paul and Robbie, Cadence King, Andrew, Jonny Whizz, Gav and me.
From the off this was an antisocial ride  , huw has had a week off the bike and he was letting everyone know, my legs were absolutely knackered from saturdays ride in the surrey hills- again being kicked around the @ss by Gav and Paul- 4 hours ride in the morning, then a 2 hour ride in the afternoon on the MTB with a mate up from Bristol
A good sleep on sat. night tho!
I was off the back on all climbs (no change), and at times felt really tired. Crockham hill was a good test, Andrew reaching for gears he never had-even before it got to the steep bit- he still beat me up to the top tho by a good few minutes. Gav was in fine fettle today as he was yeasterday proving that he had good legs for climbing after all that marmotte training.
The way Huw went up the hill-( which is more like a speed-ramp considering what he has been riding) was for me quite disheartening, it looked like the big ring all the way up  -FYI i twiddled up in 40/26.
Even the supurb carrot cake didn't refresh me and it was a tired old man that wound his way home for a Magners ( which did refresh  ) and a nice kip in the garden.
