saddle swap

Postby simonfrench » Thu Aug 10, 2006 12:43 pm

I've a selle italia SLR which is lovely and light, but my bum doesn't like it as much as a flite, probably because I sit on a flite mon-friday and I'm used to it.

I don't race, so I'm willing to swap for somethign heavier but more rounded. Nothing with a hole in though please.

PM me if you fancy either a swap for a nice new SLR, or alternatively if you just want to buy it, half cost'd do.

I'm out Friday so will reply next week.

Cheers all.

Simon

you might want to try a Fizik Aliante.(sp)
These are pretty comfy and not a million miles away from the Flite design.

Steer clear of the carbon railed versioin for regular riding tho.

Cheers - the Aliante is close to the top of the list - it's more, well, "saddle" shaped!

Will steer clear of carbon rails - haven't got the budget! But yes you're right not that sensible for something I want to last years.

Thanks for the suggestion - appreciated
