The weather forecast still looks great - no wind 21degrees and NO RAIN. Hard to believe after this morning's deluge. So it looks highly probable that we'll be going for it.

Road conditions will be awful after all that rain as there was already lots of sand and mud in a couple of the lanes. I was out for an hour at lunchtime and although it didn't rain, my bike was a mess - Take Care, carry plenty of spare tubes etc.

Beer Circus - from 8pm. There's as much interest in this as the ride. In fact most people who are NOT doing the ride have said they'll do the Circus!
Don't go there straight from the ride still wearing your kit. They are very friendly to cyclists and will welcome you, but you really should go home and eat something first.

When you go home after the ride, don't lie on the bed, NOT EVEN FOR A SECOND! You'll be asleep instantly and won't make it to the Circus.
