Farewell to Maria

Postby Nick » Thu Aug 24, 2006 4:45 pm

It has come to light that Maria David is leaving ACC.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a very sad Farewell to Maria, I rode with Maria a few times on the CR and found her very chatty and helpful with general cycling matters. On several occassions Maria tried to talk me into Bi and Tri athelons. Seemed too much like Hard work for me but maria loved them.

Good luck with your New Club hope to see you around.

PS you looked strong on Tuesday at C.P.

Good luck Maria. Been to Pearsons quite a few times (1st bike came from there) and Guy has always struck me as a nice, and very helpful bloke. Not to shabby on a bike either.

Pearsons is a great shop - and now they have (another) great rider to boot. Bon chance - I'll never forget Ventoux!!

Cheers Guys - Thanks for your best wishes.

I won't be that far away, and will probably bump into you on the circuit.

I suppose racing wise it's gonna be business as usual, except that I'll be in fetching pink kit, and I'll have Guy shouting at me every week to stick to his wheel as he canes it round the park. And when I'm feeling finished off Will will then say - "and now for some sprint intervals - here we go" :?

Cheers,

Maria

All the best Maria.

Can you convince Guy to get you one of these now?
