Anyone else doing this ? Even though the cyclo sportives have been really popular I noticed in the last issue of CW that the entry limit of 500 had not been reached for this one..

I am on the start list for this one but, unfortunately, family visiting duties mean that I won't be able to do it. Good luck - it sounds quite tough.

Me too but I am doing marshall duties for the T of B. If anyone wants my place they are welcome to it. Have a good one Brian - I think that you could have won the cyclo-sportive medal of honour for this year

cheers Alan but I think Huw got that a few sportives ago ! Then you must have the people who have done the French or Italian ones... I can't get over how Rich V done the Marmotte and then l'etape - amazing ..
Oh well I will fly the Addiscombe flag alone on this one...

Well done Brian. I'm six sportives in with another 4 to go and feeling very tired so I'm having the weekend off to watch the ToB.

Be prepared for a tough one - it's like the Surrey hills only 30 miles longer, so good luck.

cheers Huw - hopefully as long as it is not p*ss*ng down I should be ok. I might not be able to fly around these courses but after doing 4 of em so far I am confident that I can finish them now. Kicking them off with the etape du Dales was like being chucked in at the deep end !

I'd love to be there but it's my wedding anniversary (I know, there's always something) and I felt it might not be politic to be absent.
