If your not TOSHing it this saturday a hold hands, pat backs and reassuring hugging service is available for the 4th cat race at Hillingdon. Or perhaps you just need to get those few points that'll make you a 3rd cat; once again an old-slightly-clapped-out-3rd cat is on hand to give good tactical advice. See you up there at 1.15 if ya coming :D

Hey Guys

Postby Graham O » Thu Aug 24, 2006 9:24 pm

Would like to have a go at a circuit race before the end of season. It would have to be a sunday.

I don't particularly want to have to lash out on a racing license if I can get away with it.

Is there any hope ??

Well I was thinking of doing the ToSH, but the chance to race at Hillingdon with London's premier DS on hand has swayed me. See you there.

ok Toks no worries...I think you've done enough racing recently for the whole of ACC...and possibly Dulwich too!

Just checked weather....Wet is forecast.....after your slippery tales at palace I doubt i wanna risk this :(

well, my first time at hillington today, (9th Sept) entered the 4th cat race. bad preparation for it but found it ok, speed was (slightly) higher than palace but not so much effort needed, my average heart rate was 158 bpm (palace around 170 pbm). Coming up to the finish a crash occurred in front of me, managed to avoid it but lost all momentum and came in with the others who were similarly affected. No one seriously hurt I think. The race was also differnent to palace in that the whole bunch stayed together to the end so had one massive dodgy sprint finish. Still good fun overall - may return next week. overall a :D

yep, that sounds like a typical Hillingdon 4th cat race :)

Ok this saturday is the final race at Hillingdon. According to the BCF rankings I have 39 points and only need one single measly point to make 2nd cat. A guaranteed drink or two for anyone who joins me in the E123 race this Sat!!!! :D :D
