Well said Sean (and congrats on the time), thanks to everyone including those who stood by the roadside and shouted encouragement, although my none to impressive 27.30 (bringing up the rear of the ACC contingent
) didn't deserve it. It was much appreciated as watching riders solo up and down a dual carriageway hardly makes for the best spectator sport.
Can't get my head around this TT malarkey, i don't seem to be able to zone out and I find my mind drifting and my speed slowing, so my times have hardly improved over the 6 or 7 I've done this year. Oh well only the Presidents 10 next week - on fixed
- and then on to Toks RR, maybe I'll find that suits me more than the lonely road.
Cheers,
Andrew.
P.S. Finally got over to Herne Hill this morning to squeeze in the intro session. Mainly just getting people used to riding fixed as most hadn't before, also basic lessons in track manners. Well run by VCL and definately going to make the effort to get over for some proper sessions next year. Would recommend if you've never tried it before and are curious.
