Hi John
As someone with poor circulation hand warmth in the winter has always been an issue on or off a bike.
I bought Specialised Radiants last year and rode through the worst of the winter without any problems.

If the snow is deep and Jack frost is really nipping at your extemeties you can put a warm pack in the pocket on the back of these gloves which feels really warm for one leg of the clubrun at least.
Not the cheapest option but warm hands in the winter are priceless
The only criticism I would have is they are a bit too warm when the temperature starts to rise, so I resorted to carrying a spare pair of woolen gloves just to stop my hands getting too hot and clammy.
also You should go and try them on an there are variuos sizes and as with some other winter gloves the finger length seems to have been designed for the piano playing cyclist.
