Paul Dewis take a bow

Postby huw williams » Wed Oct 04, 2006 2:31 pm

This week's celebrity ACC rider is Paul Dewis - page 51 of tomorrow's cycling weekly. Congratulations mate, don't let it change your lifestyle. In all good newsagents from tomorrow.

This marks the start of CWs sportive coverage over the comiing months, where I get to re-live all the agonies I've suffered over the summer in public. As ever there were more ACC riders per event at most of them so look out for more ACC rider pics in coming weeks (especially if I bribe the art editors).

I'll have to get up early and get down to smiths and buy a stack. Although I suppose it depends in which section the picture appears; it may be in the "How to get lost in a sportive even though theres lots of bright yellow arrow signs showing you the way" or maybe the "Only halfwits leave home without a water proof during the monsoon season" article.
I'll be opening village fetes next!!
If you need to contact me get in touch with my agent.

Have just been to four newsagents in search of a copy - niks. Apparently there's not much demand for CW where I work (Bermondsey).

The quest continues. But it's hard to retain one's dignity when scanning the magazine racks these days.

I kept my eyes firmly on the lower shelves, shading my eyes for added security, so I couldn't say. But after an appearance in Cycling Weekly, who knows what opportunities will come Paul's way?

Got my copy today. Paul you look very professional, a bit like Lance Armstrong in the mountains. You better have two pens for the autographs on Sat, just in case one runs out.
