No need for excuses Alan. Not quite end of season, but this should provide perfect preperation for the Bec hill climb on the Sunday, or give me the perfect excuse :D

Just got the start sheet for the Redmon 2-up and yeah we made the cut, have a certain Mr H. Williams starting behind us  .

Wondered if you'd spotted that Andrew - Not to put too fine a point on it but:

WE'RE 'AVIN' A PIECE OF YOU!

WE WANT YOU SO BAD WE CAN TASTE IT!

TWO MINUTES? YOU'LL NEED TWO HOURS FOR US NOT TO PASS YOU!

My pacer is a Paragon rider and he likes nothing more than an Addiscombe shirt up the road acting as a target. His mouth is watering already. He can hold 32mph for 8 hours before breakfast

Who you riding with? Your dad? Your dad better be Fabian Cancellara if you want to stay ahead of us. :-)

Damn. Just noticed that Dave K and Doug are off after us. We're in for a roasting! :-(

Wouldn't matter if it was Cancellara, the Gentleman can only overtake in the last 200 metres :D .
Now a word about behaving like a gentleman.....

Yeah it's this sunday - and there are usually some big names down to ride. Should be fun. Unless you're riding and taking a beating off your pace man of course. Its Terry I feel sorry for - he's gotta try and hang on to Richard Viney for 15 miles!

Ah, Mr Munnery, alive and well and back from the Dolemites. How far was your ride on Saturday?

I am doing fine thanks Alan. The Dolomites were brilliant- much varied terrain, mountains were just awesome but hard work for a lump like me, must get my weight down  .
Saturdays ride was good and it felt great to be out with the club as it had been about 6 weeks since my last CR. I had been off the bike for the previous week with a bug so it felt a bit tough with my lungs at half capacity, especially when Huw and Peter decided to ramp it up a bit.
I am up for the beer...what is the venue?

I'm pushing this back to the top - but also to suggest that forum readers mention it to others on tomorrow's ride.
