hi Gavin, I have had serious thoughts about entering this, even gone so far as to figure out how to get there without a car.

1> cycle there - approx 45 miles, say 3 hours - leave house at 6am! would this be detrimental to race form?

2> cycle to East Croydon, train to Horsham, arriving around 8am the cycle approx 12 miles to aerodrome

But have discovered wife may have invited friends over that day - will have to find out more - are you going?

Not sure how long it will take to get there say 7.45am at Coulsdon South Station?

What race are you doing? I've got family stuff to do so will be leaving after the 4th Cat race is finished.

Hi Paul, ok that should give us enough time, I'll be doing the fourth cat race as well, but depending on how I feel I might cycle home as I missed the club run today.
