The Agreeable Cycling Library?

Postby Andrew G » Fri Nov 17, 2006 8:14 pm

Having had a scout along my bookcases I've realised I own quite a few cycling books, and knowing how pricey books are, wondered if anyone was interested in an Agreeable Library.

I am happy to lend any of the books as long as I get them back but would be grateful if they are read and returned, rather than sit on shelves, so that others could borrow them (or I can re-read them).

Hand overs could be done at the club house or as arranged.

Anybody got anything I haven't and prepared to lend could list here to expand the "library". Any interest from those with a literary bent?

The List (Amazon or Google for details):

The Escape Artist - Matt Seaton
The Rider - Tim Krabbe
King Of The Mountains - Matt Rendell
One more Kilometre And We're In The Showers - Tim Hilton
Viva La Vuelta - Lucy Fallon & Adrian Bell
Indurain A Tempered Passion - Javier Garcia Sanchez
A Moustache, Poison, and Blue Glasses - Svend Novrup
Flying Scotsman - Graeme Obree
Sprinter The Life & Times of a Professional Road Racer - Malcolm Elliott
Bikie - Charlie Woods
The Hour - Sporting Immortality the Hard Way - Michael Hutchinson
Tour de France - The History, The legend, The Riders - Graeme Fife
Man On The Run - The Life & Death of Marco Pantani - Manuela Ronchi

Forgot the Tim Moore one, that's in the travelog department. :D
Also have Tim Moore - Frost On My Moustache which although not strictly a cycling book does involve some cycling across Iceland.

Can I borrow A Peiper's Tale please?
