Also now the forum seems to be the main way of getting information out maybe there should be a news section with someone posting various news coming from the wednesday meetings etc.

But as RichV says it is our club and if we want something out of it we should try and put something into it, but again some information from people with past experience or with links to the committee would be helpful.
For example if I wished to organise a training session (for beginners and experienced trackies) at Calshot (?) velodrome (is this our nearest covered one) how would I go about it? I was taking with Kevin and some others about track racing at the Dinner and would love to try it out. I know AC did a session there before.

In truth, I was being slightly provocative. But its something that some present and ex ACC racers have said to me on a few occassions - sometimes its not about whats true its about what people want people to believe. Why those beliefs exist would make an interesting debate over a few drinks I'm sure
