GB Sale

Postby huw williams » Fri Dec 15, 2006 2:25 pm

Here's the news we've all been waiting for:

GBs sale starts the day after boxing day but ACC members will get a head start with discounted items available to us only from Wednesday 20th December. That should give us three days to empty coffers already depleted due to xmas present demands and strip the place of all the good stuff before Joe Public gets in there.

Check in store for details of discounted ranges and items.

That gets a "yay" from me. :)

And an "oh no" from both Josie and my bank manager.

Probably being greedy, but won't stop me asking.

I'm in the market for a padded bike bag, has anyone bought one from GBs or can recommend a good one.
Thanks.

I bought a giant bike suitecase from them a few years ago. It was made by Sci-Con and looks like a super-sized Samsonite suitcase.

It's been used by Elliot and Alan over the last couple of years and is starting to look a bit battered but still does its job perfectly.

I don't know if they still sell them.

Hal,

Tried to send a pm but it seems to just be sitting in the outbox :?

If your bag is still for sale I'd be happy to exchange some readies for it. I could pop round Wednesday evening or anytime on Friday this week, but there's no rush so whenever suits you.

Give me a call to sort something out, 0779 157 8262.

Cheers,

Andrew.

I was intending to, but my lovely wife and I spend a very profitable hour on E-bay last night.

If anyone went can they give an idea of the deals on offer?

I've just seen that I can get to East Croydon in about 15 minutes from London Bridge, so I'm going to be hauling my sorry a*** down there today. Nobody'll notice I'm gone
