After Ian's experience, I'm a bit worried about asking for the ACC extra discount. Maybe they'll just factor it in without me asking for it.

I'm just going to get stuff I need/want anyway and hope for the best when I get to the till.

Yeah, just seen that. It doesn't say anything about an extra discount, though, just that we get first pop at the goodies. And don't worry - I'll be discreet. Nudge, nudge, nod's as good as a wink, know what I mean? Eh? Eh?

Am now back from GBs. Used my skill and judgement to buy an Addiscombe gilet, thereby evading any discount at all. Did get some 3/4-length Santini bottoms and Planet X overshoes, and made a whopping £14 saving on these two items combined. The £5 I spent on the train getting there ate into this more than somewhat.

20% off is all I got, ACC or no ACC. :? Not sure this made the putneying I'm about to get from my boss - who did notice my lengthy absence - worth it.

On the plus side, came across David Lombari loitering in there. Was only thinking yesterday that I hadn't seen or heard of him for ages.

I looked but couldn't see it. I meant to ask for you, but it soon became all about me, and I forgot

Went to Butlers last night and some evil Purley-purleyer had snatched the last 585 frame the very same morning

Not an Addiscombe member though I did ask …
