Postby mark mclaughlin » Thu Jan 04, 2007 7:36 pm

After completing my first clubrun last Sat on fixed with the steady 17's. Just want to know who's up for this on Sat.
Enjoyed it so much last week! Yes Nick I'm that Fool and I'm you glad you where admiring the paint job!! By the way does anyone know who the other chap was on the brand new Fixed Condor? we seemed to have lost him on the way out, says he was on 75" Too Big a gear me thinks, I'm on 65"
Cheers

Back on my fixed this week Mark so can't be your derny on the return leg :D . I use 69" and find it suits my legs in a 17 or 18 group, I can't twiddle as quick as you on the flat.

I saw the guy on the Condor on Sunday and he said he did a shorter ride and looped back through Redhill (on Sunday as well) as he was still recovering from a cold. I agree 75" is probably a bit big unless you are a powerhouse, fine on the flat but difficult to try and keep on top of when the road goes up.

Any more out this week? Probably need at least 4 for a specific fixed group, otherwise we'll have to continue to mingle with others.

I figure the more times my legs go round, the quicker I will shed the extra Christmas pounds, so count me in. And it's January, so surely anyone riding more than 70" gets dumped into the 19s  .
