After its trial afew weeks ago, which got the thumbs up by all 5 participants, I intend taking another 18 training group this Saturday, weather permitting.
Basically the idea is to break the ride up into work and rest efforts, some long and moderate, some short and quick, and everything in between. All work efforts are followed by a thorough recovery, allowing everyone to re-group.
Probably the most important parts of the ride are the recovery efforts, which will be 'recovery' and not 'just a bit slower' so if you feel like you would want to keep pushing on, please don't come.
Hopefully we get a good turn out and get some good feed back and ideas on how to improve the ride, or add / subtract something from it. Maybe we make it a permanent fixture.
Anyone wanting to try something slightly different but within the same speed group as they normally ride should give it a try.
