Many will know Geraldine but may not have known of her accident - I learned of it today and saw her briefly this pm. In summary, just before Christmas, crossing a dual carriageway by foot she was hit by a speeding BMW and thrown into the air sustaining concussion and a leg broken in 3 places. She can't remember it happening and by now, over 3 weeks later is on the mend, duly pinned and plated and in fairly good spirits.

Dreadful news but sounds as if it could have been a lot worse. Hope to see Geraldine back on the bike again soon. Thanks for letting us know, Alan

Geraldrine.

Sorry to hear the news but glad to know that Geraldrine is making a recovery. It must have been awful. Please pass on my best wishes and look forward to seeing her back with us on the CR, especially if and when she may fancy just a gentle run out to Charlewood and back; she will be more than welcome in the J4F and 15mph and we can sort something special out accordingly.

Many thanks for letting us know Alan.
Best wishes for 2007, John..
