Favourite tour riders

1. Ivan Basso - Maybe ill be proved wrong, but i believe he's clean. If you've watched Overcoming you'll see more of my reasons. He absoloutely domintaed the 2006 Giro far better than Lance ever won a tour. And there's no doubt in my mind that he would have won the Tour as well given the chance... watch this space.

2. Thomas Voeckler - In 2004 whilst watching my 1st Tour on tv, his epic 10 days in the yellow jersey were nothing short of inspirational. He might be a little guy, but he's got guts. And he races with his heart on his sleeve. Much like Vino...

3. Jens Voight - Always in breakaways. Stupidly strong. A true Rouleur.

There you go, theres my controversial top 3, hey ho. Forget jan... clean or not, an amazing lack of consistency plumets him down the league tables.

Oh, and everone else is on drugs... accept David Millar and Bradley Wiggins, which is why we wont win the prologue in London. I may not even be 20 yet, but im one hell of a cynic!!!

i like the battles he had with lemond in the mid 80s. 5 times winner of the tdf, one of handful to win all 3 major (grand??) tours.

and in his pictures he always seams very " manly " and "hard". also i like badgers. and he always seams to me like one of those legendary and hard to believe riders, where you just don't know how they do it!

so i suppose thats why hes my favourite cyclist, also he makes for good watching on youtube
