saturday special

Just a quick heads-up for all those who've not seen the 'awesome weather' thread

A few of us are breaking off from the main club run tomorrow and doing the hilly 50 route as prep for the official event which takes place on the 17th.

We'll ride out via Brockham and join the course at Westhumble

It's hilly (obviously) but not overly long - total should be in the region of 65miles with riding there and back

We're keeping it steady and enjoying the good weather rather than blasting around and getting knackered (saving that for next weekend's Old Prortliams RT)

So if you are capable of keeping up with the 17s group on the normal club-run, and you want a decent ride before the winter arrives, come and join us.

Faster riders who want to leather it up all the hills also welcom as long as you don't mind waiting at the top or going ahead in your own group.

Post reply here if you're up for it and see you at CSS for usual club run start time

Count me in as well.

I was just wondering what to do tomorrow as I couldn't face the same old route yet again.

No idea of the route though and am slightly concerned that we will end up with a huge group of riders potentially causing traffic problems.

Could have been. Roughly 5ish on way home from work.
Unless that person was doing something dodgy then it definitely wasn't me!
