yeah was a good day over all, definately something different anyways. was quite novel getting to ride round town, something of which i havent done before. new roads are always a treat! especially as the police did a moderately good job of letting us jump red lights etc. (they even closed southwark bridge just for us!)

there was a lot of suspect bike handling however, but not all are as well drilled as the addiscombe. shame. especially some of the couriers who literally thought they owned the road.

but let me leap to their defence also, some of them were actually nice guys and me and simon were chatting to a couple of 'em between each 'take' and there were a few, believe me!!! tempted to get my hands on a single speed myself now, to trash about on! then ill just need some rolled up jeans and some roll-ups, if you know what i mean

good ride back through south london, nice little tour of jamaica, ahem, i mean brixton. somehow still clocked up almost 40miles through the day, and i got the train up there!

a long day, but a good one all the same. think £65 was a lil tight, but ill get over it!

cheers,

adam

Had a good day also, loads of fun was poked towards the guy in yellow. named "Lance Bean" by a few of us due to him looking a litlle like mr bean on a badly lit day with beer googles on!!!!.

I did a a great laugh all day long thanks for you guys and girls putting up with me   I had 15x "Good Mornings" 1 x Good morning from a very camp "Builder" plenty of photos for the tourists. As for the ride home I cruised most of the way back up the a2 then a20 with an average speeds of 20mph much quicker than the days average of 13.4mph.

Thanks you guys and girls for a very great day.

Mmm, that was an experience. Don't knock it till you've tried it though!

Can't understand the extreemly early start (never ridden while still asleep before) as we were stood around for a good couple of hours before anything happened.

First shoot was a nightmare and lucky to get away with only a couple of accidents, as there were so many riders obviously inexperienced in group riding. Hal was caught up in one, but was ok.

Second and third shoots were not too bad on Waterloo and Southwark bridges. We even managed a bit of a burn up after each take on Waterloo bridge, opening up our legs from the Imax back over the bridge, while the 'actor' in yellow proceeded to walk or get a push as he was totally knackered. Should have used a proper cyclist!

Last shot was a bit tedious but eventually got finished as the light was going.

All in all a good day, one to remember. Food and drink were plentiful, lots of different people to talk cycling with, some odd bikes to look at and we also got paid for pretty much doing nothing.
Oh yeah, and you never know we may see our ugly mugs on the telly - bonus

Steve

ps good to see you Toks

I got paid £180 for 2 days even though I only turned up on Saturday....I never checked it until this afternoon.

What a RESULT, probably the best one I'll have all year.

Carole Thanks for making it a great day without you there It would not have been half as much, fun expect Phil in his Suit. Your ears must have had enough of me by the end of the day.
