Poor chap

NOT!!!!!!!!

I think he actually came in about 5 minutes after the peleton. I remember this happening to New Zealand Darren in his first ever race on Alfold. He was away from the gun with a group and did not hydrate or eat properly and blew up big time. He went from being 5 minutes ahead to crawling over the line about 10 minutes after the peleton after blowing within the last 6 miles. We went past him and he was crawling poor chap.

Shame for the Dynamo guy as he had prepared for a long race with two bottles but had unfortunately lost one. If he had asked me I would have given him some of mine as I had loads.

Cheers

Marek.....
