[quote="Alex Protasiuk"]We should do this again as I get lots of people asking me on the club run if there is a MTB club run (a few women too).
If we can get enough notice I can drum up support on the CR
The problem with regular MTB sunday runs Alex, is that the burden of leading always rests with Marco. Whilst clearly no one knows the trails anywhere like, as well as Marco, it's a bit unrealistic to expect Marco to always lead.
What would be ideal (although probably also unrealistic) would be if Marco had maybe 4 to 6 'deputies' who worked a rota and where prepared to lead should Marco decide he wanted a week off.
Don't know who could be up for this so probably not very feesable
It's a shame because although Croydon is one of the biggest towns in the UK, we have some stunning off- road trails all in easy access from the centre.
I've posted this before but it's a reminder of what we've got in Croydon and all within 30 mins bike ride from East Croydon station. Can't help thinking sometimes that we're spoilt, and perhaps don't deserve it !
