Entry level bike needed for 5'5" lady

Postby Alan M » Sun Mar 18, 2007 2:19 pm

My daughter is considering commuting but may in the longer term be interested in days out on a bike. Any ideas or recommendations welcome - she has a limited budget but I would probably chip in for an early birthday present

Hi Alan

My wife wants to sell her ladies road bicycle.

It is a Principia Aluminium frame with carbon fork and smaller wheels.

I'll take a picture of it later so you can have a look.

She is looking around the £200 mark.

My wife is 1.65m in european money.

Cheers

There are some really good Specialized ladies bikes for under 400 down at Cycles Unlimited Brighton Road.

I use Principia frames and can recommend them. Probably the best alu frame you can get.
